I've just added a training section to our website - http://www.jwebmarketing.com/services/training/Default.aspx. We have started offering internet marketing courses. These will be taught on a dedicated basis, so we will require a minimum number of students and will bring training onsite to an organization. Alternatively we can arranged a training classroom.
The first course is titled Social Media Marketing for Business. It is a 1/2 day (4 hour) class that is an introduction to using social media for marketing a business. The course is largely hands-on, here is the course description:
Course Overview
In this course students will learn how to leverage social media websites to market businesses. Emphasis will be put on Hands-on exercises to give real world experience to students. Best practices and pitfalls will be highlighted throughout the course.
Who Should Attend
“Front Line” employees that will be handling the day-to-day implementation of social media marketing will benefit from this course.
Course Objectives
- Become comfortable & familiar with these major social media sites: Myspace, Facebook & Youtube
- Obtain the skills to properly utilize social media to market a business and its services
Pre-Requisities
Students attending this course should:
- Be very familiar with using the internet & web browser
- Have a marketing background & experience
